Resident Testimonials

"Living in The Oaks Apartments is as authentically "Austin" as you can get on South Congress anymore. The neighbors are cool. It’s a great location for people attending St Edwards’s or people who walk to work on South Congress or downtown. It’s pretty chill. It’s a dog friendly, respect-each-other culture; which is rare today. The apartments have a feel of nostalgia with architectural elements which have vanished from modern design. Arched doorways, built in bookshelves, beamed ceilings and big closets all combine to make the place feel like home. I won’t be leaving soon so if you move here… be cool.”

"I work downtown and I actually got a bike and stopped driving my truck and wasting gas going to work. It only takes me 25 minutes to bike downtown and I don't ever have to deal with traffic problems like I used to! IT'S GREAT!!! I have to admit I am a person that asks LOTS of questions and I have to say that I am most pleased with the sincere service provided to me by the community manager. I am looking forward to spending many years at this complex with the service that I have received from the entire Martine Properties Staff."

"I moved into the Oaks in December and have been pleased with the staff and my apartment is very comfortable. The pool is beautiful and always very clean. The office and maintenance staff truly seem to care about the residents, are prompt to respond to repairs, and have treated me very professionally. I would recommend Oaks to others looking for a comfortable apartment in a terrific location with attentive staff."

"I've lived here a year and a half or so. The complex is under new management as of the last year or so and since then there's been a huge turnaround. The manager is organized and responsive and is personable and professional. The rest of the staff are friendly, genuine, and all around caring and they planned and carried out a great renovation process.
Very beautiful place since the new exterior renovations - they didn't just repaint the place, they restored the infrastructure from the inside out.
Also they held nice little get-togethers for the neighborhood while they got the construction out of the way and now it looks like a whole new place with oaks, colorful buildings, green grass, and fresh paved sidewalks."
